Robert's Mission Statement

Robert believes in a Ferndale where your voice matters, where revitalizing downtown means more jobs, more beauty, and more places for community to thrive. Over the past 20 years, Robert has invested his time, energy, and resources into making Ferndale stronger—without relying on government funds. He understands what it takes to balance vision with fiscal responsibility.

As a longtime resident and downtown business owner, Robert has worked to secure federal funding for local businesses—not for himself, but for you. He’s helped keep property taxes in check, supported affordable housing, and advocated for smart, community-driven development.

His international experience and work building cultural bridges through education, art, and diplomacy remind us that local leadership can reflect global wisdom—always with Ferndale at heart.

Robert doesn’t just want your vote. He wants to work alongside you, listening and leading by example—because Ferndale deserves a city council that puts people first, always. Let’s build Ferndale’s future together.

I’ve known Robert Pinkley for a decade, including four years beside him on City Council. No one puts Ferndale’s citizens first like he does. Now more than ever, Ferndale needs him.
